Cookies...YUMMMM

So this is yet another very late post, but a very much needed one!  :)  Nana and Grandpa surprised the kids with all the makings of cookies and other goodies in the mail, and they could not wait to make themselves some yummy goodness...truth be told I was the one saying, "common guys, don't you wanna make these cookies!!??" and their like, "yeah mom, just hold on a sec!" Geezzee kids, whats a mom gotta go to get some kids hyped up on sugar around here?!  :)

The yummy treats that Nana sent our way!

They are very serious decorators.

oops...oh well, can't have too many sprinkles!  :)

They best part - the icing!  :)

Their beautiful creations!
And where is Ezekiel in the midst of all of this?!  Doing one of his most favorite things...rolling in my newly folded clean laundry, but of course!  :)

Thanks Nana for a very fun afternoon!  :)

Why does the weekend have to end?

Some of our most favorite people came and visited for the weekend (well, I guess that was a week and a half ago but this is the first time I could actually sit down for 10 seconds, think a intelligent thought,  get on here, and write about it.*sighh*..moving right along...)  Sooo....I'm pretty crazy about this family....I mean, I didn't know I could want to squeeze a child from being so ridiculously cute, as I could my own.  But their sweet little munchkins proved me wrong.  Becka and I even got some thrift storing in while the boys watched the 5 kids...go daddies!  :)  So all that to say...the weekend went by wayyy too fast!

Us attempting to have a family meal...the 9 of us!  :)

Geezzee Uncle Sami...is that Pepsi Ezekiel is holding?!  haha

Malachi lovveedd baby Josiah's toys, who can blame him, they were pretty nifty!! :)

Play time with daddy
Their own personal pony!  :)

Uncle Sami and Ezekiel bonding time

This is where we find Ezekiel...look at that face! hahaha

Play time with Aunt Bekah!

Giving kisses to my sweet Elizabeth

The two little princesses... Annabella just adores Elizabeth.
Going out to dinner while "Grandma Pam" watched all the kiddos

Best for last....kisses by Malachi...if you haven't had those, you truely haven't lived.  :)

Monday's really do come wayyy too fast...

What I LOVE about boys..

Overall, I am a girls girl......yes, I did my share of rolling in the mud and making wood forts; but I was ALL about those dolls.  Anything where a prince could marry a beautiful princess.  So when I turned out with two boys I was excited, but I really had NO idea what I was getting myself into.  Oh but now I know...life with boys is the best thing in the whole wide world!  Yes I LOVE my doll carrying, tiara wearing, tutu flaunting little girl...but my boys are just as amazing in their own magical way.  I love them so much I could just burst!  They are all boy....but aren't afraid to be down right goofy!

Oh Ezekiel! He just can't help himself, he goes into Annabella's bow drawer and passes bows out for everyone in the household to wear... but somehow Malachi and him are the only ones left wearing them...  :)

I told those boys...they gotta stop wearing those cause there just so dang pretty with them on. haha

A little love

So there is a story here.  We were all running around the house (ya know, I'm making supper...Annabella's frolicking around and Ezekiel is climbing the pantry hoping not to be noticed) and I turn to see where Malachi is...and he is curled up on the kitchen floor with his "Lamby" sleeping.  Right then and there I knew I had to drop everything and snuggle with the cutest kid in the universe!!!  :)

My boys being goof balls

And Ezekiel doing his two most favorite things
1) Throwing dirt

2)  Eating dirt.  :)

What can I say...boys are simply delightful.

The gift of chocolate

When the days get long, and nap time won't come fast enough...when I feel like I might truly go insane and sell my kids off to the highest bidder (totally kidding!...sort of... haha)..there's only ONE solution.  "Okay everybody, time to go to the table for some chocolate!!!"  Yes, I realize it might not be the best form of child management but give me break!  If a single fudge bar could quiet a houseful of munchkins and turned fighting into shouts of joy...trust me, you would be game too!!! :)
See, I told you!  Pure bliss!!!  haha

Yuummm

Okay, sure he is ridiculously messy...but lets look at the bigger picture...  *happiness*  :)

chocolate face

Don't worry I don't use this method every day...but it's nice to know I get it in my back pocket on "those kind of days"! haha
So here's to chocolate...the world's best *mood changer* in children.  :)

Fortress fun

The kids were wondering aimlessly around the house looking for something to destroy so  I took it upon myself to gear all of that energy into something "productive".  And whats more productive than a fort! Although, I don't think I took into account all the things that they had to destroy in order to "build" their fort. haha

Annabella was the mastermind behind the whole operation

Basking in their accomplishments

Hiding from the "bad guys"....naturally  :)

Ezekiel shows daddy all of his hard work

Their new room...at least for a day or two.  :)

Getting the house a little messy (okay, completely destroyed) for the sake of giddy joy in 4, 3, and 2 years olds is way worth it!

Hanging with our besties

MUCH to our displeasure we have been living 1000 miles away from our bestest friends for a couple of years now.  BUT since we have moved back to North Carolina  we are only 2 hours away.  It's no "next store neighbors" that's for sure, but it's better than nothing!  So for the first time in a very very long time we left all the kiddos with grandmas and it was just the 4 of us!  Just like old times! :)

 The happy couples...

Bekah got me a house warming present!!!

She painted me a picture of my favorite car in the whole world and painted my favorite color!!  She is simply amazing.  :)

 I.love.her.

We rocked that bowling alley

Just the four of us  :)

I love friends.

What we do for fun...

Life is busy..too busy.  But thankfully it's not too busy to do some of our favorite things...

There is always time for a little b-ball practice

A playdate with Annabella's Montessori watching a play at the Library.

Never too busy for picnics at the park..

OR...snap shots by mommy.  :)

And Saturday mornings are always our favorite...snuggling has never been better

Pizza for breakfast?  Why not?! :)

Oh and let me introduce you to the newest member of our family...the Wii.  *sigh* haha

No matter how busy it gets..somehow fun just always seems happens.  :)
